Not Really Sure How To React To This Student Film

So just yesterday I finally received the final cut of this student film that I did way back at around May of this year. For some reason they kept delaying in providing me a copy of it and I was actually very interested in seeing how it turned out. I got to review it yesterday.
In my opinion, it didn’t turn out that great overall as it looked like they were missing so many shots such as one part where I had a long dialogue with the other actor and the entire time they had a static shot of him only during the whole conversation. There was also one very strange thing where they made a DVD cover and the name of the character I played was different which is completely bizarre (Especially with the fact that the character’s name is referenced multiple times in the actual film).
I was kind of overlooking all that though since this was a student production after all. But then, I was even looking at the final credits and interestingly enough they spelled my name right at first but as the credits kept going it was then spelled wrong consistently. To me, that was a little too much as I genuinely always try my best despite these productions being student films and I can’t help but to feel that the same professionalism wasn’t given back.
In many ways too, I had a hunch that a reason why they were delaying in giving me the DVD was because something was wrong with the movie in general. So, I’m not really sure how to react. It is a major disappointment though on so many levels.
But, I try to look at the bright side of course as worst comes to worst I can maybe use a small clip for my reel in the future as there is some good parts to it.
