		<description>Yep, you hit the nail on the head. When I started out as an actor, I would attend many meetings. Meetings being the operative word. They were not auditions but simply meetings. In many cases there wasn&#039;t even a script in place and the casting directors were not even sure what they were looking for!

All they wanted to do was meet you and see what you were like.

In nearly all cases, I would get some sort of call back or link to a job from that initial meeting. It&#039;s all about getting your name out and face remembered.
