Some Lengthy Memo And Waivers

Apr 5th, 2009 by Alan Yu

I will be working on a show tomorrow and just recently I received a rather lengthy memo on how the show may have a lot of special effects such as explosions. As well, this is the first time I have seen a production send out paper work in preparation to upgrade people to potentially bigger roles.

It’s very organized I suppose. Makes me wonder how crazy this set is going to be though.

That sounds exciting. Love explosions!!! On some of my own ‘very low budget’ productions’ I have played around with ‘after effects’ by adobe and coupled with premier pro it is amazing what can be achieved.

Hope all goes well on the show for you, and yes, it probably will be crazy!!!

    Good luck with it all.

Was no actual explosions on set today. Just had to pretend to get angry with a military man of sort. lol

Should link to some of your clips if possible Kirk. Be interested in seeing the post effects you have done. I’m not an expert with After Effects but I dabble with it here and there.
