So I got the set directions for Farewell Atlantis tomorrow which you can see here:

By the looks of it, the location is the Vancouver Film Studios which is a familiar area to me and so it shouldn’t be too bad. One thing though, I was reading some of the instructions and apparently people are going to get soaked in one of the scenes.
I definitely didn’t get any indications of that happening before agreeing to work on this film. From the breakdown though, they mentioned that they will be supplying all of the wardrobe. Wonder how many people are going to get sick though considering they have to do it for like three days at minimum?

Looks like I am going to spend the majority of my time this week working on that movie Farwell Atlantis. One thing about film is that you never know how long the day is going to be as it could be as simple as two hours or as crazy as sixteen hours a day.
I guess the good thing is that I will hopefully be able to meet a lot of new people as always. For sure though, I’m not going to be able to do some of my regular activities such as my martial arts training due to this. I have yet to contact my old instructor too whom you all may remember that I bumped into again at the reunion.
Maybe I’ll give him a call tomorrow and see if anything interesting will come to that such as whether or not I want to be submitted to those talent agencies again. I do only have until tomorrow to organize everything though…….

So my background agent contacted me today and I received information on what the big Asian call was for. Apparently, it is for that movie Farewell Atlantis that is being shot here. This looks like it is going to be a cattle call too and a pretty big one at that.
I talked to one person who was in the actors group today and he mentioned that he worked on it once and wouldn’t do it again. Reason being was that there was just too many people on the set which made the experience unpleasant for him.
I personally always see stuff like this as a great experience to learn more as I work towards establishing myself. Maybe I’m crazy, but I told my agent that I was willing to do the six days that were requested. The first day starts next week.
